Mike Dobuski is a technology reporter for ABC News based in New York City. He has covered major shifts in the world of tech, from Facebook whistleblower Francis Haugen’s testimony on Capitol Hill, to Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, to the rise of artificial intelligence. His reporting can be heard on ABC Audio’s daily “Tech Trends” feature, as well as on podcasts and radio shows such as “Start Here” and “Perspective.” His work regularly appears in ABC News Radio’s hourly newscasts, and he can often be heard talking tech live on ABC Audio’s network of affiliate stations. He also hosted a three hour technology special in the summer of 2023, titled “What’s Next? Life & Tech.” In addition to audio reporting, Mike is also a frequent contributor to ABC News’ website and social media channels.
Separate from his technology coverage, Mike has covered a variety of stories in the automotive space, and was on the ground in Detroit for the historic United Auto Workers’ 2023 strike against the Big Three American automakers.
Before coming to ABC News in 2017, Mike worked at CBS News Radio and WFUV Public Radio. He is originally from Newtown, Pennsylvania.
