Ines de La Cuetara is a correspondent based in Paris. She has reported on a wide range of foreign stories, including the war in Ukraine, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Pope Francis and the death of former Pope Benedict XVI, the Queen’s funeral and King’s coronation, and natural disasters.
Prior to joining the foreign team, Ines spent over six years covering politics. She reported from 43 states as a campaign embed on the 2016 presidential campaign, and also covered the 2020 presidential campaign, former president Trump’s impeachments, and was on the ground during the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Ines is a dual French-American citizen who speaks fluent French and Spanish. She holds a Master’s Degree from the Columbia Journalism School, along with a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University.
