Ryan Burrow

Ryan Burrow is an ABC News Radio correspondent. In addition to his responsibilities at ABC News, Ryan is also a reporter for WGN Radio in Chicago.

Burrow has more than a decade of journalism experience. He’s previously worked as a reporter and anchor at WFVA/WBQB in Fredericksburg, Virginia, 600 WREC in Memphis, and WLS-AM in Chicago.

He’s covered stories such as the Washington, D.C. area sniper shootings, the 50th anniversary of the birth of rock ‘n’ roll, presidential campaigns, and the 2012 NATO Summit.

He’s also been a national news editor and web producer for Tribune Media and Clear Channel. And he even was the play-by-play announcer for a season for a minor league baseball team in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Ryan grew up in suburban Chicago. He received his undergraduate degree at Valparaiso University in 2002, and earned his master’s degree in Journalism at DePaul University in 2013.

He lives near Chicago with his wife and two young children.
